Oh the guys that are whales all owned them for sure.
But back then, you didn't stand a chance at getting seeing unless you paid for exposure. I always used them to get my posts seen.
Never made a dime off them, just spent it to get them some views and people following me. But yeah the owners of them, made bank.

You literally had to pay to get any kind of traction. No one gave you a second glance unless you were like top 20-30 trending posts.
And the only way it got trending was....Votes. Those guys made such massive profits from it.
