Another 25,000 STEM burned off @stemcuration

in LeoFinancelast year

We are unstaking 100,000 STEM from @stemcuration account.

This account was funded with 500,000 STEM from the team funds. All liquid curation rewards have been burned since the tribe started, but we continued to leave the staked curation rewards accumulating.

We decided to start unstaking curation rewards earned on this account that were locked up.

Today the 2nd of four 25,000 distributions arrived and as you may have guessed, we burned them!

We will let you know what we decide to do with the remaining STEM being unstaked when the time comes.

When we unstake tokens on @stemcuration we reduce our influence on the reward pool giving your stake more influence.

Brave tells me that STEM accepts BAT donations. What does STEM do with any BAT received?

Nothing really, only got like 1-2 BAT in like 2 years.

I always thought that BRAVE was a bit of a scam. It is a big tech firm from San Francisco with a Chromium fork that strips the ads from independent web sites. They claim to give some revenue to sites in their network for a 5% fee.

It seems scammy. But, some people fell for it.

Anyway, I just wanted to be able to give people a list of HIVE related sites where they could send their BAT.

PS: I just bought & staked 25 WINEX. Let's see if the command works.

good to see these Burn coming.. I was hoping that more of these STEM token burn would bring in some positive momentum/action to the price of STEM token.. But looks like this crypto winter n bear market continuous driving the prices of tokens downwards.. Hoping for a bright future.. cheers

This actions make me think the STEMGeeks team is building the foundation for a truly web 3 ecosystem
