In this case, I printed pieces in different colors and glued it together. But I can print multiple colors at once, it is a lot slower and it wastes material as it has to purge every color change and something like the snowman is like 300 color changes.
So if the model takes 1hr and 20g of plastic to print, printing multi color all at once might make it take 6hrs and 100g of plastic. Many models are made in pieces for this purpose.
