These Engelhard silver rounds are keepers that will say in my perma-stack. The American Prospector design is iconic of America and the Gold Rush in particular... I read somewhere that the name "Gold Mountain" was initially applied to California. Ships full of immigrants docked in San Francisco to disembark passengers, initially bound for the goldfields of California. The 1925 California Commemorative coin depicts the Bear on the reverse which is so common in California and The American Prospector on the obverse. The design of the Engelhard Silver Round was based on the California Commemorative coin. I really love this silver round! Stay tuned for the next additions to the tube. Have a wonderful evening, @stokjockey, and take care 🥰🌺🤙
