Samuel Haig from cointelegraph.com reports that ethical egg distribution company Farmers Hen House is working with Bytable, a blockchain-based food traceability company, to provide complete transparency about the purity of eggs they sell to their consumers by printing QR-Codes on the egg cartons.
From the QR-codes the buyer will be able to find out from which farm and on what date the egg was picked up, the certification status of the egg farmer and where it was packed.
