I wouldn't file those taxes if you do not know the difference between income and compensation for labor...the irs wont correct you if you calculate having to pay more than you are legally obligated to pay
@truth-is-treason, agree with you on this 100%. Definitely we shouldn't pay more than we are supposed to and pay enough to get rebates if any.
In India people do tax theft because paying taxes will not help them directly. Also, people think that they cannot save any money and kill their profits if they pay too much.
That's a huge problem here but then that's why government give tax rebates so that people do it diligently.

Mera toh pati hi bharta hai ITR har saal because meri income thodi bahut crypto se hoti hai. Baaki thodi bahut aise hi ho jaati hai. :)
