Hello dear splinter boys and girls, hope you all are doing great with the amazing rewards from the Splinterlands. I have seen many players have got some tremendous amount of rewards at end of the last season. Nowadays, the competition has increased a lot at the upper league. Even the gold league has become very tough for me nowadays with my silver max deck with some max and cheap reward card and max legendary summoner. Also the renting cost of good cards has increased with compare to the battle reward!
Today I am going to discuss about some of the best strategies to consider before any battle to make the team with the best abilities. As the number of abilities are increasing, so there are some important counter abilities which should be keep in mind during any battle in league battle or the brawl battle.
Before diving into these strategies, I would like to share some thoughts regarding the current battle experience and the increased competition in upper gold level and higher leagues. Why even the silver league 1 is becoming more harder nowadays. The following reasons are to be focus on if you understand the current situation.
The battle reward has died completely due to the crash in price, even you can’t get back your renting DEC from the daily battling!
But the daily focus reward is amazing, if you can manage yourself to gather more than 10 loot boxes, that will be amazing with rewards that can be sometimes awesome and at least you will get your renting cost. Like last time I got a 4 bucks legendary card from my daily focus reward!
The renting price will not be decrease any more as the requirement of the own cards is important with the revised reward system. So try to build your deck with the all necessary cards as the starter cards will decrease your all rewards from the game.
Until the SPS reward implemented into the battle reward and brawl reward system, the competition will be at the current stage, after the starting of SPS rewards, the competition will increase significantly with the increasing card price and the renting cost!
Let's dive into today’s strategies, today I am going to discuss about some approaches that can be very helpful for the newly gold league players into the gold league or struggling in silver league. As if you are in this area, you should just accept your defeat when you face some meta couple such as LLAVA-KRON with the LAST STAND ability or some extraordinary summoner such as YODIN ZAKU with it’s devastating BLAST ability.
I think maximum of low level or new player with weak decks, they just accept of defeat without implementing a proper strategy according to his/her own decks. With some strategies may be you can loose maximum of your battle but there will be some possibility of winning in some cases. And also these strategies will improve your battle experience in overall Splinterlands experience.
1. LAST STAND (LLAVA-KRON)
One of the most destructive combo we face is the LLAVA-KRON from the death team which will destroy any good team if it not properly balanced with necessary abilities.
To win against the LAST STAND’s destruction, the FORCEFIELD is the most useful ability that can be use as it will take only 1 damage when attack by the enemy monsters having damage more than or equal to 5.
Also, some other cards with the STUN or AFFLICTION ability can be awesome as they will force the card to be stun and keep it away from any HEALING which can be amazing in many cases.
Also the poison can be also a destructive way to win against any LAST STAND ability.
2. BLAST ability (YODIN ZAKU)
The BLAST ability is an awesome ability to destroy any team in a cruel way which is often indomitable for the players with weak decks even with a strong decks it is very tough. But with some tips and strategy sometimes victory can be our sides. The most important fact is to keep fighting for a several round is the most challenging against the YODIN ZAKU!
My approach will be affording the DEVINE SHILED, FASTEST monsters with FLYING ability and HIGHER HEALTH. Though some crucial abilities that can be very useful against the BLAST are the HEALING, TRIAGE, REFLECTION SHIELD, and the POISONUS attacking monsters.
Also, some combination of the AMPLIFY with the RETURNING FIRE and REFLECTION can significantly destroy the enemy team with the BLAST ability provided by the YODIN ZAKU summoner.
3. TAUNT based combo
My third and last important battle strategy is against the TAUNT ability which will force all of your monsters to attack enemy’s TAUNT monster but it will have numerous HEALING abilities and the extra SHILED will absorb numerous attacks meanwhile enemy’s other monsters will destroy you. So, it should be tackle with some strategy that can help you to win against the TAUNT.
The most important abilities to focus against the TAUNT monster is the AFFLICTION and the CHARGE ability that can resist the enemy monster from healing and charging ability will make a huge damage after every skipping one round.
