Hmm, I tried this, I put 001BTC in my Trust wallet, opened the app on my desktop as you described, selected wallet connect and scanned the QR code, it connected OK, and I entered 0.01BTC to borrow bnb (bsc), I could see my wallet balances, but the "connect wallet" stayed at the bottom of the window, I saw no option to create a loan.
Trust wallet was showing that it was connected to Thorchain too
Hmm, now that I look at my balances in the wallet, I don't see the BTC, but see my other tokens (all BSC tokens), do I need to do something to the BTC to make it loanable ? I see it in my Trust Wallet, but not in my wallet balances on Thorchain desktop app
Any ideas what went wrong ?
I would guess you connected your wallet to BTC or BNB but not both at the same time.
If you didn't see the BTC it implies BTC wasn't connected.
In fact it looks like BTC doesn't connect using Trust Wallet at all...
which is pretty weird and certainly the problem.
Looks like BTC only connects with XDEFI, Ledger, Trezor, and keystore.

Yea, it wasn't an option to connect BTC with TW, that's a real pity, I was looking forward to playing with this
Consider using XDEFI wallet (potentially as a replacement for MetaMask).
I'm starting to like it.
Also you could just throw BTC on a keystore (which is just a custom wallet on your hard drive).
I personally much prefer just connecting my Trezor for BTC.
Bit more secure.
Thanks, I'll explore further, I opened a ticket in their Discord, but no luck finding a TW solution yet, I have another go with a different wallet at some point, lets see if I can get an answer to my TW enquiry first, as I like TW
