I get the need for people to feel like they made the right short term decision and the despair when they watch 'money' go away.
People are pretty predictable. which is why we should observe ourselves more closely. One of the good things about transparent blockchains :)

Exactly. If the world is to change direction, different needs to be supported. It doesn't have to be perfect yet, it just has to have potential.
