I think this is something the rest of the world feeds off - Ever since I was a kid there was the saying, "Only in America". Many silly things, like "this bag is not a toy" - but now with global information flow at speed, America spreads everywhere.
Ah yes, we have many of those signs and you just have to sit and think that someone had to try it at least once for them to realize they needed to make a sign for it!
