Yep, it is similar here. One of the reasons we got the garden work done was that the larger rebate means we can lower the tax liability a little.

Ah, okay. I just know the one year when I took gains out from crypto I had to give them a cut. Then the next year I had to give more as well because my income the previous year had been so much more. Then, at the end of the year they gave it back to me because my income dropped back down to the normal level.
Those cuts are going to get increasingly large it seems.
