This is a situation that we are likley to see repeated in the coming years. Here we have a situation where the founders are being challenged by the community. This will really take on new meaning when the venture capital funded projects end up with communities.
In this video I discuss how some of this might shake out. Block.One is basically a crypto hedge fund at this point which means that is concern is radically different from the community.

It's an interesting situation but most of them require money to start. VC and banks are the easiest way to fund everything happening and once you accept it, there is no going back.
