What does the future of stablecoins hold? With so much uncertainty, some are doubting whether the will survive.
In this video I discuss how the move towards the Metaverse over the next couple decades is only going to enhance their power. Ultimately, if blockchain economies start to rival those we see in the "real" world, we are going to see super currencies. This is due to the fact that we are about to embark upon network effects like we never saw before.

Everything is uncertain nowadays. Many people doubt fiat money. Some people say that the civilization that we currently know will collapse within the next 20 years, because it is not sustainable, and the current whole world order, including the monetary system, is built on lies.
For me, stablecoins are important since they allow us to keep our money safe to a certain extent, but if something else appears that attracts attention and provides us with greater security, we will surely go there.
A stable coin can only survive if it's fully backed up by something solid, not that kind of backup that Terra had for UST. Even USDT smells really bad from the distance...
The dollar isn't going away and it will live until all the other stable coins burn down. I am just not sure how everything will look like and I wonder if anything in crypto will ever surpass USD as the main value metric.
