I was going to title this something different but I actually will do a separate video about what I discuss at the end.
Over the last couple months, the word "metaverse" is thrown out there a great deal. This is diluting the meaning to a degree. Nevertheless, even though we are undergoing a multi-decade process, we are looking at some benefit coming from it.
In this video I discuss how this is favoring cryptocurrency and blockchain. There is an important compotent this provides.

So what do you think will be part of Facebook's metaverse? I think their own closed system is guaranteed to show up and it's about how much control this will give them. I really hope they don't become the gatekeeper.

It is evident what they are trying to do. However, in the end, they will fail simply because there are so many other directions this can go.
However, Facebook will prevail for a while. We simply need to develop around it. I think Hive Account Management system is vital.

You can bet it will take more horrific events before people will realize how poisonous centralization is. Look at how obedient most of us are during this pandemic when fundamental freedom rights and liberties are being stolen.

Uneducated question, how decentralised is the metaverse?
Considering it isnt here yet, cant answer that question.
If it is up to Zuckerberg, it will be completely under his realm.
Others have a different opinion of how it should go.

I think it goes hand in hand with crypto for sure.
I think one of the biggest keys to all of this is that developers act as mini companies so they care A LOT more about building quality and innovation while mega companies seem way behind the times and a weird variation of what they think the metaverse is.
I also see all of this as the rebirth of the entrepreneur and small business which I LOVE!

Without a doubt. We are going to see a lot more fragmentation. The idea of communities becoming business structures is a really interesting transformation.
There is a lot that will be upended.
