There is a lot of fear related to artificial intelligence. The problem with this is we are looking at something generated by Hollywood. There is no Skynet in the making.
In this video I discuss how the theory that AI will suddenly become "alive" if enough nodes are connected together doesn't seem to fly. It goes counter to what it means to have life. This is a deep philosophical conversation but there is no software that is aware that it is housed in a computer, smartphone, or on a server.

I have used and studied a few things about the future of AI and I think if it can be well-regulated, everything will be fine. Blockchain is an all-good technology, but we can't say the same with AI because of the capacity of the things it can do. A time is coming that we will have many fake people created by AI online and that is a concern. It might really mess up our data. But they are great tools and they are not what we see in movies like M3GAN.

You are right we are far from what people expect, right now AI is a tool and it's really amazing but it's not what people think, maybe one day we won't even imagine where we can be, but yeah nice video.
Rewatched Interstellar recently and appreciated that the AI there was collaborative with humans rather than an enemy.
