Citi put out a report that outlined their view on the Metaverse economy by 2030. While I have an issue with what people are referring to as the Metaverse, since I do not believe it will be around for 20-30 years, we can skip the semantics by presuming they are referring to Web 3.0.
In this video I discuss the reasons why the digital economy is growing at an enormous rate. Along with this, tokenization is a very powerful force that we are just starting to see take hold. For this reason, the project might actually be on the low side.

You have to differentiate good and bad. And Metaverse has more bad than good purposes. Centralization of most activity on web on one place is not a good idea if you ask me, as it can be always managed in a way of those with the biggest wallet. History showed us, that those ideas are almost never good for usual Joe and Jane.
