2/ Few are mentioning this because it is not occurring for the most part across the industry. We see most blockchains incapable of handling it. TX fees make it basically a non starter on the base layer.

3/ Facebook potentially saw the opportunity with their failed introduction of Libra. This would have set off the biggest network effect in the history of the world. Billions have FB accounts, imagine digital wallets for each of them.

And will set #Hive apart.

4/ Naturally this would be dystopian. However, it does show the potential of what we are dealing with. Hive has a chance, due to true account ownership, to piggyback on the USD and also kick off this effect.

5/ Ultimately, this is going to be the largest network effect the world ever say. We are talking about billions of people, not millions. Both Facebook and the USD have that already. We are now looking at redirecting this.

This is not an easy task to be honest. What you are saying is anticurrent. What we are now is not even a drop.

Thank you for sharing.
I've been learning so much from these contents and the trajectory of Leofinance just seems more clearer every day

Meta users don't understand digital currency yet and they don't fully trust Meta with that has been going on, but they also end up accepting it all just because they don't want to lose "their" accounts. It still has a dagerous potential

So nice of you to bring this here . It is indeed true. We need to talk about this because finance is the spirit behind of #hive and other media network

Interesting insights. I'm here imagining the numbers on FB and how it would have impacted transactions if Facebook was to go on with the libra project. Imma give the article a read
