Either they dont know it exists or they realize they have to control their things to make sure they can make money off it.
Hive is decentralized and out of the control of single individuals.

My guess is control over ignorance. Unfortunately it’s easier to fix simple ignorance of something existing over the desire to control. Power is a drug indeed!
