Technology is changing things greatly. Where will we be in a decade? This is something that we should step back and look at.

In this video we discuss some of the potential technologies that should grow in usage over the next decade. Robotics, medicine, and energy are areas that could see major disruption.

I am still a little skeptical about full autonomous driving. There are a lot of things to consider and I know Tesla has the most data. However, building something that will 100% not require human input will be tough but I guess it might still end up better than the accident rate with humans behind the wheel.

The artificial intelligence probably will be able to do it. The AI is doing deep learning and other things. But it is really hard (is it even possible?) to predict what will come in technology in 10 years. 10 years is a lot of time in technology. How many people would have predicted smartphones in 2000? Most phones did not even had color screen at that time, let alone cameras. Some did have. The first commercial phone with color camera was the Kyocera Visual Phone VP-210, which was launched in the May of 1999. And even the music was rare on the phones in that time. The Samsung SPH-M100 (UpRoar) launched in 2000 was the first cell phone to have MP3 music capabilities.

I think it's tough to say because self driving was promised a long while back and it's still not fully ready. I have also heard from a few people that the current self-driving leaves a lot to consider too. If the results show then I will believe it then.

taking the past 20 years as a base I think we will soon be flying to space with some ground-braking tech

The world is changing too fast. Comparing with the past years, it is growing rapidly.

You tapped right into what Elon Musk has been saying about having abundance (in material terms) be a sort of reaction to the world being automated. No jobs, nothing for very many humans to fabricate, because the robots are doing that... eventually yes, in theory, we should have great abundance.

You did make me think about what will be disappearing I the blue collar world. I like this idea of automated restaurants. Though I will miss the pleasures of going out, some waters are just enoying too!!!
