Hive is a totality of all that is built upon it. Thus, whatever is there and feeds users into it, is adding value.
In this video I discuss Hive as if it were a corporation. This might help to frame things a bit differently but in an way that does align.

That is true. We do not know what the next "great" application will be. At some point, however, we will see things really start to leverage against each other.
