Dave Portney has moved to Rumble. He did not do so because he decided the earnings are better. Instead, he took an equity stake in the company.

In this video I discuss how Rumble is paving the way for other social video platforms. Keep in mind, this is all part of the Web 2.0 fight that I predicted. These entities are going after each other. That said, it is paving the way for change.

That’s great he’s the guy who does barstool spots right? I love seeing changes like this! We need more options not fewer.

So...I might sound stupid or really be so, but I want to ask: won't these entities get to be bad actors on Rumble and influence or try to manipulate people through BIASES and behavior? Thank you, chief!

I'm not familiar with Dave Portney, but I heard a lot about content creators moving to different streaming services. This is the first time I've heard of Rumble, but a lot of Twitch streamers have moved to Kick. I think that this will be a natural occurrence as long as the big companies are tightening their grip on the revenues, and new companies pop up offering better split. Unfortunately, I don't think Web3 can compete with these contracts yet, since Web3 is very speculative. There is a very big chance to get smaller content creators to move though, since they barely make anything in those platforms.

Users will move to emerging web2 alternative platforms to escape established platforms only to later realize that both aren't fundamentally different. Overall, I think it's good that users are pulling out of established platforms and finding better alternatives.

Let user pull out, seeking for better alternatives. The best alternative is here: HIVE! 😀😀😀

His name is Portnoy and he is a scumbag. You cant trust him.
