Binance is now going to allow Russians to make payments using bank cards. This is a reversal of the actions taken after Western sanctions.

In this video I discuss how, even though centralized, this shows the global nature of cryptocurrency and how these networks cannot be controlled. This exemplified the potential of what is being created around Hive with decentralization as the focus.

I have a feeling the financial aspect is being more political as well. We have two different systems being put in right now and the politics of everything stinks. In that view, Hive is amazing because it's decentralized and there is no way to stop the financial system going on here if they choose to use it.

This is becoming go where you are treated well and welcome by crypto firms like Binance and the same is most likely going to be the case with people when their countries get crypto-hostile beyond endurance people will move.

This move by Binance is very welcome. Ordinary Russians should not be excluded from crypto just because of the proxy war the US government is waging against the Kremlin.

The CBR is also working on a bill that will introduce an “experimental legal regime” for cryptocurrencies to be used for international transactions.
