Computers were initially desktops, then laptops, then smartphones had similar capabilities. I guess cars will be the next to get the smart treatment. Cars with chatbots and computer like capabilities has a number of benefits. It is dangerous to use phones when driving, and they have small screens. Having this available in cars makes it easier and safer especially with AI.
Actually computers were first an entire floor of a building if we go back far enough.
But you are right, we see technology becoming dematerialized as they are minaturized.
