Very interesting post and great way to turn on the money machine.

I see Ford ending up as a niche player in the vehicle field. They dominate pick up trucks and will most likely do so. There is a good chance they are out of cars altogether before it is all said and done.

I think they are relying on the F-150 too much and is falling further behind in the race of EV.

I dont think they are in the EV race at all.

To me, they are going to be one of the casualties of the car apocalypse that we see coming. Ford could well be like Sears. The F-150 is their Craftsman Tools.

Can't forget the Mustang. With electric self-driving cars and watching The Grand Tour on Amazon, I can't believe Ford would give up developing a high-performance self driving muscle car as electric cars seem to do really well on that show, suprisingly.

That EV Mustang has to perform like the gasoline powered Mustang, otherwise it will lose its fan base.
