RE: Crypto Fame: United We Stan

I dont think it will do much to help Twitter in the overall scope of things. It is more just a situation where Musk could make a few changes but the entire model isnt going to be altered.

Does adding an edit feature really change much?

To be fair... none of us actually have any idea of what Elon will do with Twitter.... maybe he'll only do some small things.... maybe he'll completely change it. Things could change dramatically overnight based on whatever Elon is interested in, who knows? It's a private company now, it's only beholden to Elon and his investors.

I can't imagine that Elon would spend $44B just to add in an Edit button... there's got to be more to the story than that...

I agree with you. I have a feeling he has plans and we have no idea what they are.

That said, I think there are limitations which he can operate since the investors, whomever they are, will want to get paid. So I dont see things radically changing in terms of the business model.

But with Musk, you know there will be fireworks no matter what. He can now tweet freely without fear of being banned.

Is that worth $44 billion?

Hahaha, no, not at all. I'm sure he would have been granted that insurance with his initial 9.1% of shares.... or probably considerably less honestly.

He might have had it before. Hell he might have had more followers than Trump so banning Elon might have upset more people.

So Elon Musk paid $44 billion USD just/only to add an edit button on Twitter? I highly doubt that. $44 billion USD is a lot of money just/only for an edit button. Even for Elon Musk. There has to be something else. Something else that the users maybe not even see and will not even see. Or maybe will see.
