All true and these apps are a work in progress. As stated, YouTube was not like this 16 years ago either.
One of the reason why it is hard to unseat YouTube is the numbers. It is where the money is. With all the people on there, it is hard to pry content creators away.
So it will be an uphill battle until people see the money potential elsewhere.

Exactly but if we all pull together as stake owners and a community we stand a far better chance of making things possible and honestly in my opinion for the better!
Without a doubt. That is the only chance is to stick together and grow stronger collectively. It all keeps building. Too many want to take the easy route.
This is very difficult but it is getting easier. We came a long way in the last few years. There is more wealth here than ever before, something that will only keep growing.
We need numbers but they are not going to show up in droves since, quite frankly, we cant handle it yet. Too much to still be worked out. However, that does not mean we cant keep adding one by one and encouraging them to become highly successful.
