It is just the technology is elusive. They have tried to solve fusion for more than half a century.
Most of the attempts were governments trying to spin a turbine with heat generated by nuclear fission. Helion is a private company getting close to being a viable alternative.
Half a century is a long time. That's why I think we're in a time where we're quite privileged.
There is still a lot to come and we will be able to follow it.
