That is unfortunate and I cannot speak for who is doing curating on there. For me, I upvote videos on 3Speak via Leofinance, so I hit up both with HIVE and LEO.
I am not sure too many use the frontend for more than just posting the videos.

@taskmaster4450, what do you think about the recent start of the big power down? Many Hivers have started to power than, including some of the witnesses, and developers. It's clear they will dump their HIVE via the exchanges. I've seen that you are not powering down. That's why decided to ask you.
