I am far from an expert on that stuff but it would make sense.
Even if load times are not part of the ranking, the fact that people can operate quicker means there will be more information on the site. This has to help in terms of all the metrics.
It will be interesting to watch how things change in rankings after the change is in place for a long time.

After the changes I think we should embrace promoting ourselves on crypto games and Brave Browser. It's really the best demographic for us.
