I am not sure how much the interest rate will help with the peg but if it pulls HBD off the market into savings, it cant hurt.

I think the potential for it as a stablecoin is massive. We simple need to start framing it properly.

    Now if we could just get the South Koreans to put it in their savings that would be great! They are the biggest speculators but then again I am not sure how many actually have a HIVE account.

      Well since they all have Steem accounts I would say they do. However, they are not really tied to Hive. So I think they just play the speculation game.
