This is very true.
It is the power of distributed ledger technology. Since the data is decentralized, meaning the ledger is replicated on many [nodes]9https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-node) (computers), the data becomes immutable.
Hence, as long as someone is running the software, anyone can spin up a front end and access said data. Each new transaction is added to the dataset every 3 seconds.
The great thing is nobody needs permission to participate.
