I really dont take this to be too optimistic for EVs. If they are going to take until 2027 to reach parity with ICE, that will really slow adoption.

I always thought it would be a slow adoption so it is not a surprise to me. As I stated before, I think there needs to be a cheap enough car with enough battery life/mileage before the masses will do adopt it.

Absolutely. There is no way mass adoption happens in the premium end of things. They might dominate that segment but that isnt where the masses reside. Most cant afford over a $30K car in the US (actually most need something under $20K).

Electric cars are expensive and charging infra is also not that good here in India. It may be good in the US but here I believe things will grow at a slow pace.

Still not great in the US. Some sections better than others but the overall experience still gives people range anxiety.

It takes a long time to ramp up production and build charging infrastructure so 2027 to reach parity is not that bad

That's not great, but not much of a surprise either. I hope there are some breakthrough that pushes this timeline though
