What is interesting is this is not from a crypto news site but one that is a bit more mainstream. So the ideas of CBDCs not being in the best interest of populations is expanding outward.

Governments will always try to find ways to control everything. CBDC is another form of shackle that the govt. is advocating about.

CBDC is a godsend to them. They will now be able to track every financial transaction and monitor what people are doing.

Well the overreaching hand of the government is a concern for a lot of people. Even in the US, they can't seem to answer everything properly.

The fact that a non crypto site is questioning will bring some attention to what is going on.
