Don't be so sure about that. It depends on whom they serve during their terms. Do they serve the people, or do they serve their patrons or masters?

Sometimes the wrong people get appointed in the first place, and somehow they get re-appointed while still being the wrong people for the position. This is too common no matter what nation we're talking about.

That's very true though. There isn't a saint in politics, lol! The only consolation is when we see some of their good accomplishments during their terms that are at least beneficial to the general public.
