RE: Leo Talk 3/14/2021 -Come Join Our Chat

Can only read a couple of paragraphs of this article but it seems that NFTs are popping up of celebrities without their permission.

NFTs for the People? That is what is being promoted.

I was actually wondering about how does copyright, image rights and such work with NFTSs... Didn't do much research yet but I'm curious about it...

I don't know but its going to be a huge mess since copyright laws haven't really been updated well for digital stuff. I think people will be pointing fingers at each other and there is no way to know for sure who copied who.

True... I think law in general is way behind the digital word so it's probably like you said. Total mess and confusion

I dont think it really does cover it.

Plus, who do you go after if it is done anonymously on a decentralized platform.

Like @jfang003 said, it is going to be a mess since copyright laws were written in a far different age.

I think its to be expected. People will do whatever they can to make money and if it's using someone else's fame, its a no brainer. There's no verification process and even if there was, they could put something they did for real then put the copied stuff.
