Asteroid mining holds some potential.
That is a lot of money. The only challenge is that it is about 100 million miles from Earth.
Is that a viable industry or are we just throwing money out the window?

All the resources on earth came from them so I'm sure there are plenty not all that far away rich with minerals we could use. Our tech isn't advanced enough yet or cost effective but when we get to that threshold it's going to take off in a very quick way.

Yea, I think someday we will get to the point where that's viable and we will be mining all over the galaxy
