He is not wrong on this. Many are predicting that the next few decades will see more advancement in Bio-tech than we saw over the last few decades in computerization and digitization.

Most of the tech billionaires are dumping big money into it. They all have something to do with longevity.
Although this is a bit different since it is dealing with programming DNA, which will obviously correlate to life extension.
Either way, by 2040, things could be a lot different.

I think Biotech as a huge future as technology develops. Some of the companies such as CRSP have some great technology and if its successful should revolutionize how we use medicine. As both equipment and knowledge on the human body increases, we will definitely see major advancements in medicine as well.

Yeah. I think the cancer research is amazing. They are working on actually rewriting the genes to prevent the spread of cancer.
I think we will see some amazing breakthroughs in the field over the next 20 year. Unlike the computing era where we were not accustomed to looking at the pace of progress, we are well aware of it now.
It will be fun to monitor this industry.

Having lost dear people to cancer, any initiative that aims to fight this disease is worth my attention. I hope they make good progress on that field.

I feel for you, I have also lost loved ones to cancer and I will probably get it someday too. I quit smoking so maybe that will get me a few more years.

Yea, cancer sucks
I hope you manage to avoid it but also I hope technology gets advanced enough that we can give more fighting chances to everyone who is in this battle.
