The automation of China's construction industry is underway. This is great news for the move forward. They are using all kinds of robotic heavy equipment.

The use of robots is transforming China’s construction sector “from a labour-intensive industry to a knowledge-based hi-tech industry”,

The US sure could use that. It is still stuck in the "we need to create jobs" mindset. That is why the construction industry has lagged for the past 80 years.

    This is their mindset:

    A private contractor on a government infrastructure project in Guangdong said robots had become a buzzword. They may look clumsy, he said, but they could revolutionise their industry “just like the early steam locomotives”.

    “I will do anything to replace workers with machines,” he said, requesting not to be named because of the sensitivity of the issue.

      Sounds like a man who understands that employees are annoying. Will this be the replacement for the energy used for BTC mining since they are kicking them out of the country?
