It does seem workers, at least so far, are holding strong on the "we are not returning to the office" mindset that companies are trying to instill.

At least this is the case in the London.

Just like people are realizing that going to college for many jobs is worthless they are starting to realize that going into work for many jobs is worthless. Its a massive drain of money out of their pockets, time that could be better spent with family and loved ones. We need to get out of the meta of having to go into work every day. Sure a few times maybe twice a week but really there's little to no reason in many cases for having to do so. It's like the old age trying to battle it out with the new age and covid lock downs seriously sped this up.

I think you hit nail on the head there. It's about time we see some real change in superior education and workforce

A reminder with an article that appeared in Bloomberg at the beginning of June.

It seems the battle is playing out.

Yea it definitely will happen. Most of these people got happy with the fact that they did not need to move into the office so I doubt they want to return to the previous norm.

Good for them. I hope those who can afford to resist do so

It does seem like there are a ton of people who want to work from home. I actually see no downsides so long as everything is still done on time.

I love working from home. I think what might happen to my team in the near future is that the on-call person will be coming in for their on-call week only. So it isn't bad if it is only one week out of the month.
