It seems for all the naysayers bringing up Tesla's issues in China, the company is doing very well there.
The deliveries in March jumped a great deal. It appears the Model Y production is scaling up quickly.

Electric cars are cool. Definitely the way of the future. Petroleum products are dirty and finite, though there have been outfits that have produced petroleum fuels in laboratories.
My brother-in-law used to have one of them Prius Hybrids. It worked pretty good. Not quite a Tesla though.
With the current US Administration being so eco-conscious, there will probably be a lot of money going into this type of technology. I read somewhere that investment in renewables is starting to pick up again by the private sector.

Yea I am surprised to see that they had very little supply side issues. I wonder how many factories Elon wants to build before he is satisfied. Because I don't think their competitors will take it lying down. The good thing is that their monopoly is slowly dying.

He said to achieve the goal of sustainable energy, as laid out in his master plan, it would require more than 100 gigafactories.
Not sure he will get that many build over the next 15 years.

I think he needs to solve the issues in Germany first before he decides to build more. The longer everything gets delayed, the more cash that is burnt.
