Agreed. Not using Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, Google or any corporate social media account for logging into application should be as common sense as not leaving your house or car unlocked.

these sure good piint but why do some people complain about hive not being really decentralized? Just can't get their point

They claim because there are some whales that the coin distribution is centralized. If that is the case, they should look at chains like ethereum.

The fact is no block producers creates more than 5% of the blocks.

And there is plenty of $HIVE out there for people to scoop off the open market and power up.

People just dont do it.

well, I guess they prefer earning it from blogging because it's free. Maybe those people just meant to destroy Hive and discourage the users to get out from it. but funny though because their post were upvoted by some people too and they are still earning from hive. I may believe it if they burn the rewards they will get

2/ The reality is a mobile app puts one under the control of Apple and Google. That is not freedom. Apple threatened to remove the X app after Elon took over. Do you think that is a good way to build a business?

3/ Developers are moving in the direction of progression web applications. This is the future. That means a project team is not beholden to either of these companies for "permission" to have their app. One simply uses any browsert.

4/ This is a major vulnerability and shows how Apple and Google have amassed too much power in the mobile world. While not all of it can be fixed, developers can help by making their projects browser forcused.

6/ Many devs are not going with the PWA and not really focused upon the mobile app. It is the future if we want to avoid censorship. App stores come at a price and that is freedom.

7/ We talk about #web2 and what happens if they zap your account. Well, what happens if Apple or Google zap your app? That could suddenly crush any updates or development to hundreds of millions of users.

8/ Mobile users should get accustomed to logging into sites on their browsers. Some are going to be delayed since they still focus upon the mobile apps. Anything that is web3 should make the conversion instantly.

1/ We talk about #web3 and freedom. However, people do that on mobile applications. It is also ironic to see those in #crypto complain when mobile apps arent updated.

5/ There are enough different browsers out there to bring this to the point where nobody can shut the app down. This is true on Hive also.

yes o ,you are sure right the era of web 3 taking
