The only effect it would have would be on treasury bonds, but wouldn't have anything to do with the actual stock prices of US based companies, unless they were completely overweight in treasuries. The US government's credit rating, again, has nothing to do with the US stock market.
Since the downgrade happened when the stock market was closed, many feared the reaction today but so far so good with little or no impact.
Eh, the stock market shouldn't have anything to do with the US govt's credit rating, so didn't surprise me that we didn't see anything.
