If we are going to make a statement, we need to think big. I am not sure what is on the Leo team's mind regarding #ai.
Don't you think that human thoughts are much more valuable than anything that AI can offer? :)
A personal AI has nothing to do with thought. It is more of an, well, assistant. It can handle scheduling details, provide information on request, and file and organize data.
Previously, the library was such an assistant, but it never threatened to destroy humanity :)
Previously it was an individual which only the wealthy or business people could afford.
Soon it might be something everyone can have.
A wife, son, daughter can become such an assistant; it is not at all necessary to trust an important part of your life to a tin can :)

I guess people can have a wife son daughter do calculation so no need for calculators. Hell they can run and fetch water so no need for plumbing.
My father coped with any calculations with the help of a slide rule, a calculator and mental calculations helped me quite well... we somehow survived until today :)
