RE: Hive: The Epitome of the Attention and Ownership Economy

There is a lot of experimentation taking place so what is "leading" now might not be a major player down the road.

As for ETH, you can do that except there is little attention. Other than some financial applications, there isnt a lot that is successful in terms of applications due to the fees. We know that is a hindrance.

We will see what Koinos comes up with. They are taking a different approach. However, as with everyone, what is in their database is going to be the determining factor.

In my candid assessment, ETH boasts a significant number of influencers, many with over six-digit follower counts. A lot of them have hundreds, some thousands of responds on important posts on X. Just seach ".eth" on X and keep scrolling, it's impressive.

I don't see the Hive Ecosystem able to grow right now. The real value propositions are not in focus and it's hard to tell if they ever were, or just got dragged along with the different projects.

Hive presents an intriguing blend of identity, wallet, and communication functionalities, each distinct in its operation. The foundation of Hive, or its 'basement' as one might say, is a tapestry of mixed materials, a characteristic not as evident in Koin. This unique composition is perhaps why Koin Social has embarked on its journey with those enigmatic and cryptic IDs as usernames. It's a strategy that seems to follow a path similar to Nostr and other competitors, opting to mask these IDs at a later stage. Which by the never effectively worked out for anyone so far - at least not that I know of.
