A lot of scammers in every asset class, not just cryptocurrency. It is easy to fall prey to easy money only to get burned by a rug pull or something.
It can happen to anyone. For me, I am not throwing the baby out with the bath water as I know the power of blockchain and what is being built on top of it.
I like the safety of Hive. I know the decentralization that is here along with the development that is taking place.

I was a novice I never knew all this blockchain technology stuff and how it's been run. I have learned my lesson now I can't try throwing the baby out with the bath water.
