It is like any other comment on Hive. If the threads is upvoted and the person has $LEO in the wallet, then it is curation like always. You also could get some HBD too.

There is financial motivation to getting involved in threading. It is easy to do and microearning is kicked off.
Yeah that´s true! It´s not the main purpose for me. I do it cause I have fun doing it mostly. And of course to promote my stuff. But it´s great that as a side effect, it earns! :)
