Yes it is. Actually, in my experience, harder work than what most consider manual labor, and I have performed both. US Marine Infantryman for 12 years, marketing manager, migrant worker (tobacco), bartender, construction helper, legal secretary, laundry worker (VA Hospital). I present this short resume not to boast, but to show that I am personally familiar with a myriad of job-types.
I am currently finishing a post I have been working on for a few hours now and I am exhausted. From my CV above you can see that I have a short attention span. 🤣
Joined the official work-force when I was 14 years old making submarine sandwiches after I got my working papers (I don't count when I was younger delivering newspapers as a paperboy). Helped my foster-mother financially after my foster-father passed away. That was over 40 years ago.
