Iron features over 60 joints and 200 degrees of flexibility, allowing it to handle delicate components with precision and perform complex tasks such as walking. It is powered by Xpeng’s custom-designed Turing AI chip, a 40-core processor built for AI-intensive applications, including robotics, autonomous vehicles, and even flying cars.
According to Xpeng, the Turing AI chip can process AI models with 30 billion parameters and has undergone more than 2,700 functional verifications in just 40 days—three times the industry standard for development efficiency. This advanced processing capability enables Iron to think, adapt, and execute tasks with human-like decision-making.
