The great thing about Hive is we get to combine both. We get to blog and curate content we read, enhancing our wealth while we are thinking and learning.
It is the best of both worlds. Through curating, we essentially pay ourselves to read.

That's something that I'm still trying to figure out, honestly. Not sure how curating works, but I'm definitely enjoying interacting and blogging here and there! It's nice to get even just a little return for the time spent doing something I enjoy anyways!
Curating is very simple.
Each upvote has a value. For example, the upvote I gave your comment is now worth .995 LEO at the time I did it. Since it is a 50/50 split, you get half as the author, I get half as the curator.
There is also a vote value in HP that you will also get 50% of.
