The power walls are closer to 13K each, but as someone who builds his own solar rigs, I can say that I can get the same storage for WAY cheaper than the power walls cost. Now, that would be using larger form batteries, so it wouldn't look as sharp and nice. But hey, if you have the money, go for it, haha.
Unfortunately, Powerwalls are great in terms of design and integration but their price is way too high compared to DIY solutions.
